1- The earth gets closer to the sun during summer, farther away during winter. Hooray for elliptical orbit around the sun~

2- Where did i mention ice age?

3- The Sun isnt getting hotter. nor is it expanding to such a size that will burn up the earth or any of that B.S.

4- If it was, it would take millions of years for it to have any significant change.

5- (Regarding 3 and 4) Me thinks u b little idiot and is mistaking global warming with the sun.

Notice how the earth stays in the same orbit, and tilts towards the sun? This explains why are orbit is a perfect circle, if it really was shifting close to the sun liek you think... the circle would be jagged.

The sun is getting hotter, you tell the scientists and 1000's of articles saying the sun is getting hotter there wrong.

Orbit = Path AROUND the sun.

Axis = Position of earth on its orbit.


both are constantly changing.


Specially the Orbit.


LOOK AT THE IMAGE AGAIN!

The earth is going around the sun, and it is clearly not in a perfect circular orbit, instead it is in an ellipitcal orbit. Meaning? It gets closer and farther to the sun as it goes around in its revolution.

Revolution = When earth travels the full orbit = One Year = back to where it was.

find me just one text book that states that the earth is on a perfect circular orbit?

Because im more than positive everyone whos taken at least one, just one, science class.... knows for a fact that the earth is in an elliptical orbit.

What does an elliptical orbit mean?

It means that the earth gets closer to the sun, and farther, at certain places as it completes one revolution.

are u stupid? what ur referring to is the slow process of which the sun and the earth are moving slowly away from each other.

but what evil is talking about is the constant cycle of the earth moving around the sun in an elipse motion, meaning it will be nearer to the sun at certain times, and it will also become further away on a constant cycle.

Actually if you look at the orbit, the bends are making the earth further away from the sun...
I think the type of circle your looking for is this

That is incorrect, one of the circles is fatter than the other. and it maybe a optical illusion, If you mesure the pixels and make a new circle, the lenth is the same Mr. Green
