Does anyone know how to hack windows vista administrator password on a limited acc. ive seen tricks like net user "administrator" * and stuff like that using cmd but for that to work you need to have administrative rights which of course i dont have please let me know if you can help me out on this matter.

What are you trying to 'hack'? School computer? Home computer?

If it's a home computer, chances are the following would work fine:
1. Reboot computer into safe mode with command prompt.
2. Log into "Administrator", no password.
3. Open the command prompt (Start> Run> "cmd" (no quotes) > OK)
4. Type:
4a. If you're on the "guest" account, first type:

Its a Home Comp and I have tryed doing that but once i put in net user <user name> <pass> /add it says access denied these are the steps i took to doing this please correct me if i have made a mistake.

1.Restart Comp
2.Pushed f8 then went to Safe Mode with Command Prompt
3.Couldnt get into administrative acc. so went to mine instead .
4.Once cmd screen popped up i typed in what you told me to and said system error 5 Access Denied.

Have I done it correctly?

If your on the guest account, how in gods name are you going to magically create an account with higher priveledges? Come on guys, its not hard if you use your nut.

Then can you help me? Im on a limited acc. and trying to have administrative rights since i left to the army i gave the pass to my older bro and he changed it and all that so can u help me or not?

You would need to do this independently of the Vista OS.
Ie, start from a bootcd such as Hiren's... not sure if BartPE will do a similar thing... and then use a password tool in it, or a SAM cracker or something similar.
While you are in Vista, especially as a limited user anyway, the SAM database is locked along with other system files, and all the OS permissions are set in place.

You can't "hack" a password but you can change 1.
The account i want to change password is Kid, and the password should be muddy

1.Start>Run>cmd>ok
2.net user
3.net user Kid muddy *
4.muddy

If you can please let me know of where i can download a sam cracker or anything else that you think can help me in this situation i rlly want to go back to hacking like i did when i was a kid but this limited acc. is worthless and wont let me download any pograms such as .sol editor or CE etc. please let me know of anything you can recommend me to do.

Btw I stopped in trying to do them net user or even use cmd for this situation if your sure it will work on a windows vista then post it but if you think it will work for a windows xp dont even post it cause i can hack a windows xp easily like any other normal person posting in this forum if someone here dont know how to hack a windows xp it would be a shame [since it is easy as hell to hack a windows vista] anyways please post information here that you [know] will work.

Dam...so you cant give me a link to where i can download something usefull to help me get the administrative password?

Oh god I know this. Because I used to have a password cracker for stuff like this. Go up to youtube and look up like hacking passwords. Some of them give program names. I think one of the program names is like Cain and Abel. Not sure.
