Well, i have a problem with assasins creed..

whenever i start it, i hear sounds and all, but its all black..sometimes it switches to white screen..

and if i click randomly game crashes...

any fix for this?

ask for any information you might need in here.

which graphic card?
on this pc with ATI radeon i randomly get black screen when playing warcraft
i just switch to windows with alt + tab and back again to fix it

if its not a winXP game try compatiblity else also try^^ winXP just is bad

Hmm problem is.. when i tried to install it said failed, and it wouldnt start after i restarted pc, so i had to do system restore..
not gonna do that again.

I have to agree with [Psych] and slovach. Not even the latest drivers will let the game play on a system with those specs (based off the GPU).

Assasin's Creed has one of the most highest computer requirements I've seen, I mean, even Crysis doesn't need this much hardware to run (Assasin's Creed: Radeon X1600/X1650; GeForce 6800 - while Crysis: 9800PRO; GeForce 6800). No current publicly-released IGP can play Assasin's Creed. The Chrome9 is only half the performance power of a Intel GMA950.

So, you'll need a new graphics card, and probably a new CPU as well (requirements are 2.6GHz Pentium D/2.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo).

Hmm well, i guess im gonna but a new graphics card soon then.
My CPU is 2.4ghz i think thats enough.. and RAM is 2gb
