Can someone help me with this?

Basically, that thing on the left won't disappear and I cant drag my icons or anything.

I tried:
System Restore
Changing Wallpaper
Changing Theme
Changing Screensaver


Help plox!

this may sound a bit stupid but try restarting your pc.
Can you also give a bit of specifications plz.

How the hell did you manage that, lol.

Open up a folder (any folder) and go to the tools menu.
Pick 'use classic view' from the 2 radio button options.
Apply it and ok out of those windows.

If it hasn't fixed it reboot.

Then lastly, go back to the tools menu and pick 'use common tasks' view.

If not, you're having us on, and you've made it your desktop background on purpose, lol/
