^ I had the same once upon a time, more than likely my own doing though.
On topic, without any further info this thread is sat still. Dunno what software is running, or what other games (if any) this might be happening on.
Unsure of what you're driver situation is, what condition you're windows install is in, or what further steps have been tried to remedy this....

| I had the same thing happened to me then i realized that I did not conect my ram properly, after than my problem was fixed.

i had a problem a while ago just like this
in the end, it would take like 4 tries b4 the computer would restart 100%
i had some major viruses problems
so i just formated my HD and reinstalled windows
works great now, even with a torrented windows XD

Like Sohai and I said, it's most likely a problem with RAM. If you don't have enough RAM and try to run more than your RAM amount can handle, it WILL shut off your computer in order to prevent it from further damage. I suggest learning a little about RAM and upgrading it.
