In now way, shape or form does 8600GT SLI equal an 8800GTX... I think SLI 8600GT is comparable to the 8800GT...

But if anything, and if you are a hard core gamer, get x2 8800GT and SLI ect ect awesome ect ect

I've also heard that the GT is comparable to the GTX. It is slightly less powerful, but not enough to notice on a lot of games.
So you could get a GT and OC, and it would run close to that of a GTX (if I remember correctly, its like a 3& difference in most cases).

But its still the GT.
And I bet that two 8600's wouldn't be as strong as the single 8800GT (epically the ones that have been linked above, and then if you OC it).

No WAY! Dual 8600GTs can't even beat an 8800GT, and price/performance of the 8600GT is not good, considering an 8800GS is the same price!
