I have a Hungarian Autodata program, which is registered and re-packaged in a Wise installer (one huge exe). The installer provides an initial key and asks for a serial key, which depends on that initial key (and can be obtained by phone, in Hungary).

There is a patch which doesn't work (and has a very old troyan embedded which is hard to miss), anyway, I couldn't find any keygens, so I tried to bypass the serial page, without any success.

Note that I could unpack the whole thing with the /x parameter, or even better, a program called 'e_wise' unpacks all the files and recreates the correct directory structures, but doesn't add the registry values needed to run the program.

In CE, I see a runtime variable showing the current page, but changing/freezing it doesn't change anything.
I also found the entered serial key in memory and tried to find the code that checks it, and changed a few jne's to jmp's (actually I was awake the whole night, trying to crack the damn installation), and finally it didn't report that the key is incorrect, but it didn't proceed to the next page either.

I found a piece of Delphi code on the internet which should patch the memory of the installation to bypass that page, but it turned out that it was the exact same code the guy used to write his patch (actually it's a trainer). It doesn't work.

Anyone know how to find the WISE installation script in the memory and alter it to bypass that page? Or any other solutions? Please someone help me, I won't rest until I find a way to install that damn piece of software. Mad

Sorry for posting in the wrong forum. I was looking around for a while and couldn't find a better place. Anyway, if anyone has a suggestion, what should I do next, please help me.

And I'm not making a keygen or a patch for myself, I just want to install it. That's why I'm using CE and not Olly. If you have any experience whit WISE installers, please give my a few hints.
