Alienware are overpriced, don't get one.
I'd look at Dell's gaming laptops.

Yeah, alienware has become much like Macintosh ever since Dell bought them out. They're not as good as they used to be, and are way too overpriced and not worth the money as much as before.
Also, I recommend using this website

I don't know about that. But I do think that Vista has a stronger firewall.
For Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142, an 8600GT/8600GS will play it well. RAM doesn't matter in this case, the OS you choose is really the deciding factor.

That's a load of bullshit. I got so many viruses on Vista that I had no idea what to do with them. Linux is IMPOSSIBLE to get viruses on, while Vista still has that chance. My computer was so slowed down by the end of the 6 months that I tried it out that it took a program 3-4 seconds to open up, even after defragging.

All I know is that the Sager is ahead of the Force, and by quite a bit.
As for better buy (as in value), the Force wins this. But make sure to upgrade the CPU to the T8100, RAM to 3GB, and HDD (to whatever size you think will do you good).
