Is there a way in visual basic 6 to send keys, like hit a button and it hits like F5 or Like C or something? and can u show me how?

Yes there is a way to send keys in visual basic.

Its called send keys.

No wonder I thought you meant VB 2005

oh, well i tried

and all it does is freeze my comp.

No tilde, just {F4} unless you want one of the window keys

These will send keypresses to the active window. To simulate ENTER and BACKSPACE:

Code:
SendKeys "{enter}", True
SendKeys "{backspace}", True
