Hehe if a game sent no info between client and server it wouldn't be 'multiplayer' it would be SP-only. Of course you can always sniff packets, of course you can always alter packets... even though in some cases they are encrypted before transfer.
Technically if its someone who has hacked into a gameserver, or any server for that matter, and then starts editing data from 'that server-side' then it is illegal.
Also, it is possible to get locked up for this stuff, but its only ever taken effect in a very small amount of cases in certain US states as i'm aware.
Generally, fine is what you'll get should the case go further, otherwise you're looking at the regular IP bans, range bans if it keeps happening and possible suspension from your ISP should they recieve complaints from 'big groups'.

to all of sturmxhawke's questions ,

i had the same problem and spent hours looking for an answer , while the only thing i had to do was disable resident sheild on all my anitvirus software , because even if you disable the AV resident shield is still running and it earases the winspy.dll , so just disable the resident shield and all should work . and do that before downloading , becuase if you dont it wont unpack the .dll and sometimes it will just give you a currupt error in winrar.

u sure WPE isnt a real trojen? cause i try to unpack and it says its a trojen so it wont let me open it. i read the stuff sayin to just either put it in a safe volt or turn off my AV but im not enirly sure its safe.
so im askin is it?

ok so i runed the prog as administrotor and it didn't recive and send pchets but when normal run it did (RARE :S Shocked

)but ok.. i use permedit....
so my problem is sloved but now the second one.. i didn't found any good tutorial on how to see which package is EX your money... Sad

and btw for the ppl that think it's a troyan - no it isn't... it didn't f... up anything so far now...my av says it's a hack tool so i discarted disk E from auto-protect and unpacked there and runed safely while my av is running Smile

2.did many actions but don't knowwhich packet out of 775 xD
3. don't know if it is encryped (possible not because it's a small game) XXDDD
