the password and pin alters(predictably) the Encryption Key the dycryptor uses. when you have the password and pin EXACTLY right, the Encryption Key will be just so as to make the above decrypt to

if you get ANY other output, your password and pin were not correct.

this is my 'auth' or protection system for most of my non-public programs. the responces from the server are encrypted using the EK made from the user's Username and Password... this way if there is no password entered, the program won't work ANYWHERE(as the responces from the server will be uselessly encrypted), removing the chances for NoPing my checks...

I'm going to edit the first post with the sources that make any difference.

and then if someone can't tell me the pass, I'll assume it's a safe protection method.

I am trying this one.
In theory I know how to crack this.
First I would see opcodes understand them and make them do opposite of what it's doing.
That will consume time.
At least I know some of ASM.
Is it worth of it?

if you can crack this, you are a GOD at cracking.

I've been programming c++ (as far as data management and manipulation) for over 5 years now. this is my fastest, least secure encryption algorithm I've written in 5 years. I specialize in Encryption programming and bot design.

the problem you have is you only get a portion of the EK. you only have a small portion of the 256 values in the EK. there are 1000's of passwords that will put the right values in the right spot for this version, and will decrypt the text just fine... litterally 1000's of possible answers to solve THIS crackme.


(actually, when I ran my decypherer (the decryptor I wrote that does not KNOW the encryption algorythm... attempts to detect the correct password/pin combination.) I found 1372 possible passwords with less than 15 characters... and as a LITTLE secret, pin=pin%231. (every time you add 231 to the pin if you read into that just a little, you'll figure out a very important part of solving this puzzle.



BTW, when you get the actual answer, you'll feel like an idiot.
