hey i gotta problem, i launch Maple Story, then minimalize it, and then i launch Cheat Engine. in this momet my comp reboots...

Maple Story does not want you to run cheat engine because they think you will use cheat engine to cheat!

yeah.. there are 2 options.

For both you'll need the progrm from my attachment. More on that later.

First one is the best, but also hardest:
Get a totalu UCE (meaning a totaly undetected CE). An UCE is made by some random guy who changed all detected strings into undetected strings. If it's realy good, GameGuard won't see it.

Other option:
Run CE while gameguard is still loading up. To make this even possible you'll need a firewall that blocks GameGuard until you allow it. I got ZoneAlarm to do that. And you won't be able to use the debugger options. Cause how can you find out what writes to a value when nothing is writing to tht value? Confused

Now, lets say you got CE or an UCE running. Now, start up the program from my attachment. It's spanish (or something) but don't mind that. Fill in the name of the exe. Like "Cheat Engine.exe" or "UCE.exe". Click the button and then click OK (no idea what it says).

Now, you should be able to attach CE or your UCE to the exe of
MapleStory. Still one problem: If you're firewall blocks GameGuard until you allow it, there is a big change it will also ask you to allow CE to attach to the program. If so, it will look like CE is crashed. To get over this problem, allow gameguard and then tell your firewall to remember and allow CE. I recommend starting the universal bypass and CE, before the game cause your firewall will probably ask to block the bypass to. If this happends you will probably need to restart your system... I can't start CE anymore after GG detects it unless I reboot.

ok i HOPE iunderstood it CORRectLY... =) i chose option 2 cyz i dun have uce and i done following things:

Ran CE, UniversalBypass, wrote name of CE.exe in UnversalBypass and clicked button, it said somethinmg and i cliked OK.
I downloaded ZoneAlarm, ran Maple Story, and...:
"nProtect GameGuard Launcher is trying to access the internet"
If i will deny, GG will not load any more, causing not loading game. If i will allow, nProtect will detect CE and will force my computer to reboot... Once i denied nProtect and it still loaded, game ran, CE was running too, everything good but i had to go shoping and when i came computer was turned off(my brother did it -_-)

so everything i done is:
Run CE, Run and set bypass, ran MS, denied nProtect GG, allowed MS to conect

Was it good?

I'm not sure... If that works though, you have to run Maple Story in windowed mode.. (a lot of tools for that... see attachment).

I though the bypass didn't work (doesnt for rakion anyway). What I do, instead of allowing or denying anything, I keep the ZonaAlarm question open and then I can attach CE to rakion.bin (the executable).

But, if you can run CE and Maple Story with this bypass, all you have to do is make MS windowed... So, download the tool in the attachment.. I'm not sure about the settings, but I believe they're already set for MS. You'll need WinRar to open the attachment. If this works you'll be able to use all debugger options...

rakion is just a game with gameguard... So you cn replace "rakion.bin" with Maple.exe (or something).

It's correct that GG doesn't load. That's the whole point of it. GG won't load, but the exe of Maple Story is already running. So you can attach to Maple withouth being detected by GG. Then, when you're done hacking, you can close everything and allow GG to load.

But, if GG doesn't detect you at all with the bypass, then you should just run Maple in windowed mode and hack away. When I use the bypass for Rakion however, I am still detected. So I have to attach CE, hack some stuff, close CE and then allow GG to load further.

EDIT: oh sorry, where is that rakion.bin? i dun have any .bin file in MS folder, nor "rakion" in program files

nonono, Rakion.bin doesn't matter. That's just the executable for the game I was hacking. But for you it would be MapleStory.exe (or something)

run CE and the bypass at the same time with dxwnd (for windowed mode). If that doesn't work come back here Smile

ok i figured it out, i think so... while MS is preparing there is proccess Maple Story.exe this is it, right? ok one success, another problem:
how can i cheat MS!??! i can't find any value matching HP/MP/GOLD...
first i used exact value, wrote my HP, it found a lot of addresses so i got hurt and looked for decreased value. i did it several times, and i got nothing... no address... ofcourse i looked for 4byte, but maybe it's stored in other type? geez all i can do with MS is to look for text, write my name, change it. but it's useless cuz only i see my new name(i can't access to database and change my real name)... i wonder how ppl made these all hacks...

well... Sometimes a game uses a multiplier for storing the heatlh, or an offset... Or both. I never tried to hack MS, and maybe it's server sided.

But in case it's not, you could try searching for the total amount of damage you got, instead of the total amount of health you got. I can't help your further, since I don't have MS. You could try out the Maple Story section (scroll down a bit at the forum index) for some tutorials.. Or for help in general on MS.
