I can't find the software to get my Xbox 360's wired controller to work with my computer, could somebody please help me out here?

(ps; xbox.com says to go to www.windowsgaming.com to get the software, which gives me a 400 error.)

Is Joy2Key the program you're looking for?

I have no idea...

Does it make an Xbox 360 wired controller connect to a computer?

If so, then yes'sir.

this looks like it should work:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/906347 (for info)

which links to here:

http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/gaming/download.mspx (for dl link)

so you just need to pick controller, xbox 360, OS...

It is.
As shown here.

All you need is to plug it into the computer via the USB. I don't think you need drivers for it.

Joytokey isn't a driver, it's to map buttons on your controller as keyboard buttons, for games that don't support controllers like Maplestory.

I never said it was a driver. Wink
But that is the functionality. Doesn't Joy2Key count as a third party app? Because I got banned for using it on MapleGlobal, while Japanese MapleStory supports it. Confused
