im not sure if this is on topic but is there a free program or any other way to put ipod song to itunes?

you mean back from ipod to your computer like that? if that's what you mean there's a free program for that.

this one works with windows media plyer you can take any music you download and it automaticly takes it and turns it into an mp3 format. all you do is use your sinc tab on windows media palyer. downfall of this is it is like a 30 day free tiral or something such as that.

Well I don't see why he couldn't go to the burn section of windows and take it off the ipod.

Connect it to the computer, go to my computer and double click on your ipodname, when the folder open go to Tools, folder options and check it to show hidden folders and such.
Then go to ipod_control, music, open one of the folders then inside open the songs and you'll find out which one it is
