Erm..

How do i create a chat using VB6.

I've tried winsocket but it didn't work so well for others.

What i want is client to client (via server ofc) chat function, just like msn.
What is the best lib for doing as i want?

there is no easy "client to client" in vb6 because the most basic control "winsock.ocx" is either a client or a server... and other stuff concerning firewalls, so its best to just phone home and trick it that way.

if you want client to client, you still need a server somewhere - go make one. the server "winsock1.listen"s to multiple ports and relays stuff to the clients who phoned home.

i made a chat all u need is a host then you jsut put the host ip in the ip boxx by the connect button then u connect -.-

Goto www.pscode.com and search for messenger. There are tons of examples of how to do this, some that are premium code (free to download and use, just good code above the rest). You might need to try different searches since you will probably get a lot of stuff for AIM/MSN/YIM and so on.
