I think about gettinga new keybaord, but I don't know which one to pick. I don't want the Logitech G15 because it is a gaint! So, I'm left with the RAZER Tarantulaor RAZER Lycoasa. Both of them are really good and I'm a razor fan, but I don't know which one to pick.
RAZER TARANTULA
RAZER Tarantula - Pros:
1. Hyperesponse™ gaming keytop with fully interchangeable keys
2. It has 2 USB ports, 1 for a microphone, and 1 for headphones (gold plated).
3. It's a RAZER.
4. It has 10 marco keys.
5. It has 10 customizable keys.
6. Anti-Ghosting.
7. Multimedia controls.
8. Battle Dock.
9. Able to store profileson keyboard.
10. 32KB Razer Synapse™ onboard memory.
11. On-The-Fly Sensitivity™ profile switching
12. 1000Hz Ultrapolling™ / 1ms response time
RAZER Tarantula - Cons:
1. I don't like the way the keys are setup ( the Insert, Home, Delete, etc..).
2. Only some of the keys are backlit.
3. The 2 USB ports it has are 1.1.
4. IT takes 2 USB ports to plug into your computer.
5. Marcos can only hold 8 keys.
6. Cannot access BIOS (This is not a big con for me, I never really use the BIOS at all.)
7. It is harder to spell 'Tarantula' than 'Lycosa'.
RAZER LYCOSA
Couldn't find a better picture.
RAZER Lycosa - Pros:
1. Laptop like keys.
2. It looks sexy.
3. Anti Ghosting.
4. 1 USB 2.0 port, 1 microphone port, 1 headphone port (gold plated).
5. I like how the keys are layout.
6. Able o store macros on any key.
7. Detachable wrist rest.
8. Touch pad media controls.
9. 1000Hz Ultrapolling™ / 1ms response time.
10. 10 customizable software profiles with on-the-fly switching
RAZER Lycosa - Cons:
1. Only see keys (with backlit) if you are directly over them (this is a big con).
2. Taks up 2 USB ports to plug into computer.
3. Marcos only hold 8 keys (with delays), and 16 (without delays).
4. It only has a terminal velocity of 0.80 mph.

| The lycosa looks better, and the insert/home/etc buttons aren't all fucked up like on the other one.

The Lysol or whatever the hell it's called one looks better, but...
Don't waste money of a keyboard if you don't need it, it isn't going to magically make you better at CS or some shit. You'll probably see an improvement from a good mouse, but a keyboard? pfff

Lycosa because if you don't like the layout of the keys on the other one, it means you're going to have to get used to the new layout.
Um, even though you can't see the keys well, learn to type without loooking.
It's sexy, less cons than other.

None the less, custom keyboards don't do that much at all. They just give you more buttons.
