i havent turned my comp off in lyk 4 months, and it doesnt cost me that much more in electricity bills

Sure leave it open. There's nothing harmful except maybe $20 added to your monthly electric bill.

I think it's better to leave it on cause I hibernate mine and usually it laggs like crazy when I just turn it back on >_>

I think its not really like 'dangerous'.

Your computer wouldn't explode or something.

Its just, your comp shouldnt get overheated,
So just dont run programs who suck like 70% of the RAM memory while being AFK.

The only reason I turn off my computer is to prevent myself from not being able to go to sleep. Something in my computer makes a shitload of noise (nothing a punch won't fix) so that usually wakes me up.

My laptop is basically on day and night when I'm not on vacation.
