| It would be really helpful if someone can tell me how to add a new screen resolution for windows. Or if someone can help me with my problem. Whenever I play a game the screen resolution is really messed up, like it shrinks. That's all. Thanks

usually games have their own seperate resolutions in the options area.
for your computer though, go to control panel -> appearance -> change the screen resolution

Do you have a widescreen monitor? In some cases, they don't support certain resolutions, and you'll have to turn it up. Check the default Windows resolution the way madman said, and set it to that in your game. On my laptop it shrinks the image on Maplestory, the screen won't support 800x600 so I just have to deal with it.
