I just got into building computers, and damnit im more excited now than ever.
Haha, i can't wait till i buy all the shit i need.

Definately build, the computer I'm using now has got to be about the 8-9th I've built!!

Hmm...
My first "build" PC was a Pentium 2.
Second was some AMD Duron shite.
Third was an AMD Althon XP 2600+
Forth was an AMD Althon XP2700+ (for my parents...which they eventually gave to my grandparents lawl)
Firth was an AMD Althon XP 2800+ (which my lil sister still uses).
Sixth was an AMD Sempron 754 (omg it was so leet at the time) which I gave to my ex girlfriend.
Seventh was a Pentium 3 (I miss you >.>), which I built using parts from eBay totalling £100, and then sold the on for about £300 XD!
Eighth (and current) is an AMD 3700+ x64. I built this PC just over two years ago (with parts retailing over £1,000 ... twas teh ultimate leet in its day).

I've probably stolen parts from crappy PCs and combined stuff together in the past as well, but I always forget xD.

IMO Since I've had/my parents have had both pre-built and ones I've built myself, I'd say always BUILD if you can afford it (because in this country anyways, it seems to cost more to build, but you're always gonna get a better system out of it...).
