Learn a programming language.

Then, after you're really good with it, learn about API Calls.

Then make API Calls to kernel32.dll for ReadProcessMemory and WriteProcessMemory.

There are many ways in doing this. The easiest way in doing this is use a program to do this for you. Since you are in the programming section, you can use: CloseHandle(), WriteProcessMemory(), OpenProcess(), ReadProcessMemory(), GetWindowThreadProcessId(), and FindWindow(). I wouldn't recommend using the bottom two. I usually use EnumProcesses() (in psapi.h). I've attached a simple trainer source. The code is c++. If you still want to program a trainer and don't want to use c++, I would go with managed code (I recommend c#). Managed code will produce a trainer with way less code.

The Extension 'rar' was deactivated by an board admin, therefore this Attachment is not displayed.

VB is easy but it is harder to learn another lang like C+ after learning VB as your first programing lang.

It's not even 20 lines of code to make a simple trainer in C/C++. (with uh, no real gui at all that is...)

I'd have to disagree with that.

Look but using the search button.
Also, you should learn some form of C, and maybe Delphi,
which CE is made mostly of.

Yeah a lot of people seem to follow others and don't hold their own opinions on these forums.

I would say,

picking up either MASM32 or C++ would be the best choice in trainer making, it has higher accessibility to the Memory and easier alteration to the memory. API Detour for example.
