Well, since we don't have a hardware section here at CEF, thought I better post this here.

Today, why trying to find out how to make a partition, I learned that there are SATA harddrives, and IDE ones?

Anyways, I have a SATA one in my computer, and if you know about harddrives you know they cables are different, and that IDE ones have 2 connector things so you can use like 2 hard drives, 1 hard drive/1 CD drive and so on..

Anyways, I was wondering if I can use the other port thing on the cable connected to my CD/DVD drive for an IDE hard drive and use it as a slave with my SATA one?

i used to dual boot off of 2 harddrives that were stripped...
