there is no conflicts with other programs because if there is it wont assign the hotkey and you get a messagebox.
and if your gonna go to a forum dont just come to fucking flame people.

He's right. You don't need focus. Global hotkeys are just more proficient then GetAsyncKeyState.

I know, I made a stupid mistake. Anyways, back on topic  this tutorial is missing something, he forgot to tell to do UnregisterHotKey when you exit the application.
