It's no big achivement for me, but i though i'd share how i did it with you, so heres a mini tutorial.

I dont want to put this into the tutorial section because i dont find it as a great tutorial or anything, im just posting how i did.

Go into a server/create one (or go campaign or whatever)

EVERYTHING IS ON 4 BYTE

Search for Unknown Initial Value.
Buy something, Search for decreased Value.
Buy something again, Search for decreased Value.
Keep on doing it till you find 1-10 adresses and then you can guess.

Or, I found out this too

Search for your amount of gold * 10.

Let's say your gold is 100, search for 1000.
Buy something, search for your new amount * 10 (Lets say you buy something for 10 gold, then you got 90 gold left, search for 900 gold then!)

I dont know why it is this way, but it worked every single time i did the hack. And remember, if you enter a online game server and cheat (multiplayer) you will be disconnected after a few seconds (Possible be able to use some sort of UCE?)

You wont do that in a online.

You will get out of sync error.

Now if you are the host you can possibly give clients more gold, but soon as you do it for yourself out of sync error.

I could do wat u said before the 1.21 patch,
but after it, the values i search dont come up wit anything.
I could change my gold and exp of heros without any trouble in my older version (1.07 or something) but i can't anymore.

This is just for single player games..
when you are playing b-net it will not work in changing the golds and your stats because the server is not your computer you need to do assembly to do you basic hacks..
when you are playing Local Area Network and if you host the game..you can do it but your friends will get Disconnected..

Actually you can use it online with Bnet. All you need to do is pause the game and have everyone in the game turn on cheat engine and change the exact same values to the exact same number as everyone else does, then unpause and you got your self uber chars etc. Yes it works, I've tested it.

Dota doesn't work with 1.07 (which i could hack on)
i downgraded my wc3 to 1.20e from 1.21 but i still cant hack!!!

I only play single or LAN.
I tried doing the unknown initial value and decreasing it, *10 the value and searching and tried exp hacking as well....

The values just dont show up in CE

You can hack your gold just fine on version 1.21 or whatever the newest one is. I've done it a number of times, on DotA even.

As Kevin said, search in 4 bit mode for your gold value X 10. (e.g. for 420gold, add a zero and search for 4200.) Spend some money and research for the changed value X 10. (e.g. 320 = 3200). You should be able to find it very quickly.

It's only going to work for single player unless you want to have everyone change all the values at the same time on lan or Bnet.

I don't know what is causing your problems, maybe its the unknown value search. Try upgrading to the latest version and search for exact values.

Has any of you got a clue how to set WCIII on windowed mode?
sadly DXWnd doesn't work.

Right click your shortcut and click properties.
Then at the end of the "target line"

put -window after the "

If you are the server im sure you can give everyone resources, and not get out of sync.

But if the host does it.to himself... crash......
