basicly im trying to change a value from a site (its actually text) and i can change it but when i refresh it goes back to what it was, i then thought that i could stop the code from changing the place of the offset each time the page refreshed by finding what changed it then noping it. i managed to find the code

That it returns to the original is because internet explorer downloads the new page from the server.

And repe movsd is a copy memory block. Probably copying from the downloadbuffer to the screen. (Actually, that instruction is part of the memcpy function of msvcrt.dll)

so is there no way to change the value and make it stay that way?

it is possible by adding a packetfilter and change incomming data to the data you want, but that has the same effect as closing your eyes and thinking it has that text

how about clicking a greyed out button?
