i have been using cheatengine version 5.2 for a while for stick arena at www.xgenstudios.com/stickarena. now all of a sudden i cant use cheatengine cause of some access violation. wenever i bring up cheatengine it says access violation at address 004E8D08 in module 'CHEATE~1.EXE' read of address 00000000. id like some to help me get past it and explain it in plain english because im not a real computer expert. ive read the other topics about this problem and i didnt understand what was going on. i would like an explination without all the technical computer lingo please.

already tried rebooting and running ti when no other games are running ?

i dont think rebooting is an option, i cant reboot or my parents get pissed. we just rebooted about a week ago and it was working fine till a couple days ago.

i didnt think it would be as simple as just restarting my computer, but it worked.
