For UCEs in vista, can I use this compiler, or should I use the latest one available at connect.microsoft.com .

Hey guys i need some help i dl'ed the "1830_DDK_USA.iso" but it hasn't got the folders which are shown on the pictures of tuts on how to create the uce, is there a new ddk out there or why doesn't this compiling work?
Whenever i try to compile the sourcecode (non-modified) it gives me errors, it seems to be the problem of a wrong or old or new ddk - so where can i get the apropriete one? And another thing , whats the ddk6000?

BTW:i do not have spaces in the folder path and everything else should also work, i even got the ntifs.h file from the website, still not working.
---> PLS HELP i can't start creating a uce if i can't compile the original one......... THX in advance

just edit ntifs.h and add the import of PsProcessType

or get DDK 6000 or later. (when later you migth get a few new bugs, so have to fix those as well)

I fail to install it, it keeps giving me an erro because it wont allow the space in "C:\Documents and Settings", and tries to use "C:\Documents" as a path, any way i can solve this?

yes. Might need some changes in ntifs.h to remove duplicite declarations, but it should work
