For those that never worked with CVS I recommend tortoisecvs. (www.tortoisecvs.org

But, if you onbly have cvs.exe (windows version yes, I gues the linux version also works, but I bet you can't get it to compile there Wink

)

type in the following:
cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/CECVS login

then
cvs -d :pserver:[email protected]:/CECVS checkout "Cheat Engine"
and after a while it'll be done downloading the latest version of Cheat Engine. Only thing left is to compile it.

About compiling:
Compile the standalone trainer first, the main program includes that exe as a resource.

Also compile the other projects in the subdirectories first before compiling CE, else you might miss some stuff.

Im using wincvs

in module name and path on server i use
heijnen1.demon.nl

and in CVSroot
:pserver:[email protected]:\CECVS

when it starts i get:

cvs -d ":pserver:[email protected]:\CECVS " checkout -P -- heijnen1.demon.nl (in directory C:\)
cvs checkout: Empty password used - try 'cvs login' with a real password

cvs [checkout aborted]: authorization failed: server heijnen1.demon.nl rejected access to \CECVS for user cvsanon

***** CVS exited normally with code 1 *****

where should i put the password? (never used wincvs before)

In the 2nd image you put :pserver:[email protected]:CECVS
but it should be :pserver:[email protected]:\CECVS

Just in case you don't know there are people stupid like me just copy and paste what you write and keep getting error. Laughing
