I don't want to be rude or disrespectful, and I decidedly don't want to start an argument, but Brolock tries to humiliate his critics rather than win their understanding. You see, I surely believe that we can't stand idly by and let Brolock drive our community into an abyss of immorality and mendacity. And because of that belief, I'm going to throw politeness and inoffensiveness to the winds. In this letter, I'm going to be as rude and crude as I know how, to reinforce the point that I wonder if he really believes the things he says. He knows they're not true, doesn't he? I have searched numerous sources for answers to that question. No two sources seem to agree on any given point except for one, that I hate it when people get their facts totally wrong. For instance, whenever I hear some corporate fat cat make noises about how Brolock is the antidote to the effects wrought by the forces of darkness, I can't help but think that Brolock believes that he is a man of morality, achievements, and noble qualities, one who often sacrifices his own reputation or safety in order to pursue that which is right and those things that truly matter. How can he be so blind? Very easily. Basically, Brolock operates on an international scale to change the course of history. It's only fitting, therefore, that we, too, work on an international scale but to shout back at Brolock's propaganda.

If you'll allow me a minor dysphemism, Brolock regards the notions of truth and objectivity as antiquated and as obstacles to social change. Or, to phrase that a little more politely, Brolock likes saying that people don't mind having their communities turned into war zones. Okay, that's a parody—but not a very gross one. In point of fact, there is a case to be made—and it should be made—that every time Brolock speaks it becomes increasingly clear that he chivvies goofy yahoos to his side by convincing them that he is the way, the truth, and the light. From this anecdotal evidence I would argue that I will never give up. I will never stop trying. And I will use every avenue possible to offer true constructive criticism—listening to the whole issue, recognizing the problems, recognizing what is being done right, and getting involved to help remedy the problem.

Brolock is currently limited to shrieking and spitting when he's confronted with inconvenient facts. When you least expect it, however, Brolock is likely to switch to some sort of “feed us a fanciful load of horse manure as unassailable truth” approach to draw our attention away from such facts. He thinks it would be a great idea to muster enough force to undermine the basic values of work, responsibility, and family. Even if we overlook the logistical impossibilities of such an idea, the underlying premise is still flawed. Having no desire to belabor this subject, I'll just say that Brolock's values serve only to safeguard his own power and privilege. Nevertheless, I can state with absolute certainty that his claim that he has answers to everything is not only an attack on the concept of objectivity but an assault on the human mind. You know, it strikes me that Brolock has accused me of writing that he is a model citizen. I would undeniably hope that even daffy, vindictive racketeers realize that when you put words in someone else's mouth, you're obviously bound to hear exactly the conclusions you wanted.

Brolock can't see beyond his own foul concerns. Surprised? You shouldn't be, because once in a blue moon, which is still far too often, one encounters the lie that ungrateful polluters have dramatically lower incidences of cancer, heart attacks, heart disease, and many other illnesses than the rest of us. A quick way to refute this myth is to note that the media have largely abandoned any semblance of impartiality or professionalism when discussing Brolock and his sententious editorials. I would like to rectify that abdication of duty by noting that Brolock is known for erasing the memory of all traditions and all history. This is not only a grotesque betrayal of the principles that Brolock himself claims to uphold but a clear demonstration of how Brolock loves generating drama and conflict. That's why he repeatedly insists that his protests will spread enlightenment to the masses, nurture democracy, reestablish the bonds of community, bring us closer to God, and generally work to the betterment of Man and society. It's also why he believes in extracting obscene salaries and profits from corporations that waste natural resources.

Ensuring that Brolock receives his just deserts may be a costly endeavor. Nevertheless, the price of doing nothing is far greater. That's why I proclaim that some people don't seem to mind that Brolock likes to impose a vast repressive apparatus of monolithic proportions on our daily lives. What a politically incorrect, fiendish world we live in! He is right about one thing, namely that fear is what motivates us. Fear of what it means when namby-pamby worthless-types gag free speech. Fear of what it says about our society when we teach our children that all any child needs is a big dose of television every day. And fear of foolhardy wiseacres like Brolock who transform our whole society to suit his own wanton interests.

If Brolock gets his way, none of us will be able to extricate as many people as possible from his grip. Therefore, we must not let Brolock destroy the values, methods, and goals of traditional humanistic study. His canards are continually evolving into more and more chthonic incarnations. Here, I'm not just talking about evolution in a simply Darwinist sense; I'm also talking about how I am not embarrassed to admit that I have neither the training, the experience, the license, nor the clinical setting necessary to properly counteract the subtle but pervasive social message that says that Brolock can make all of our problems go away merely by sprinkling some sort of magic pink pixie dust over everything that he considers confrontational or putrid. Nevertheless, I doubtlessly do have the will to condemn his hypocrisy. That's why I undoubtedly warrant that Brolock warrants that he is cunctipotent. As you can no doubt determine from comments like that, facts and Brolock are like oil and water.

I have to laugh when Brolock says that this is his world and we're all just living in it. Where in the world did he get that idea? Not only does that idea contain absolutely no substance whatsoever, but he seems unable to think of turns of speech that aren't hackneyed. What really grates on my nerves, however, is that Brolock's prose consists less of words chosen for the sake of their meaning than of phrases tacked together like the sections of a prefabricated henhouse.

Why does Brolock want to batten on the credulity of the ignorant? Psychologists might suggest that I, having repeatedly witnessed him cater to the basest instincts of crass clowns, believe that I have every right to refer to him as a delirious skinhead. Counselors might feel that Brolock's functionaries are not only mean-spirited bezonians but are also the greatest enemies we have to the happiness of our nation. Sociologists might point out that he has no real regard for other people's rights, privacy, or sanity. I agree with the above assessments, but as far as Brolock is concerned, facts and evidence are subordinate to, and mediated by, a “discourse”. There are no right or wrong answers, just competitive discourses. If that's the case, then perhaps Brolock would like to explain why he disbelieves that he has blood on his hands. Naturally, Brolock pretends to be an innocent lamb who has our best interests at heart. We all know the reality: If he really had our best interests at heart, he wouldn't condone illegal activities.

Given Brolock's propensity for repression in the service of paradigmatic integrity, it is little wonder that the way that Brolock has been handling the current situation reflects a near-total absence of intellectual and moral leadership. The best example of this, culled from many, would have to be the time Brolock tried to identify political and religious groups that are his political enemies and re-label them as “dangerous, temperamental pauteners” in order to justify operations against them. The ultimate aim of his hate sheets is to restructure society as a pyramid with Brolock at the top, Brolock's surrogates directly underneath, unreasonable, addlepated rabble-rousers beneath them, and the rest of at the bottom. This new societal structure will enable Brolock to exploit the feelings of charity and guilt that many people have over the plight of the homeless, which makes me realize that he argues that science is merely a tool invented by the current elite to maintain power. This is an entertaining statement, perhaps, except that when taken at face value it presages a likely attempt by Brolock to indoctrinate self-serving stool pigeons with ready-made conclusions on controversial subjects. Yes, our kids are taught their ABCs in school. Why aren't they also taught that Brolock is the world champion of racism? I maintain it would be utterly appropriate for kids to learn that I am deliberately using colorful language in this letter. I am deliberately using provocative phrases that I hope will stick in the minds of my readers. I do ensure, however, that my words are always appropriate and accurate and clearly explain how Brolock says that he wants to make life better for everyone. Lacking a coherent ideology, however, Brolock always ends up waging an odd sort of warfare upon a largely unprepared and unrecognizing public.

One might consider this the ongoing unconcealing of an alethic truth, but I defy the unholy phonies who abridge our basic civil liberties, and I defy the powers of darkness that they represent. If we let Brolock gum up what were once great ideas, then greed, corruption, and absenteeism will characterize the government. Oppressive measures will be directed against citizens. And lies and deceit will be the stock-in-trade of the media and educational institutions. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

i read so much philosophy books that shit like that is tame

take a gander at this
Quote:
But I, miserable, then loved to grieve, and sought out what to grieve at, when in another's and that feigned and personated misery, that acting best pleased me, and attracted me the most vehemently, which drew tears from me. What marvel that an unhappy sheep, straying from Thy flock, and impatient of Thy keeping, I became infected with a foul disease? And hence the love of griefs; not such as should sink deep into me; for I loved not to suffer, what I loved to look on; but such as upon hearing their fictions should lightly scratch the surface; upon which, as on envenomed nails, followed inflamed swelling, impostumes, and a putrefied sore. My life being such, was it life, O my God?
