When activating any one of my scripts that inject/alter regularly run game code, this particular game tends to crash. I attached ollydbg and the exception is "illegal opcode", and it occurred on a nop that was created by the CE script.

what can I do to avoid this? It hasn't proved to be a problem in any other games I've worked with. It seems that CE edits the game's code while the CPU is executing it. I tried to use affinity to prevent that from happening, but all that achieved was lagging the game.

that happened to me while ago, just same exact thing but without crashing.

and i did find from olly its illegal opcode, also from ce itself when i jump to my script its totally different from what i scripted.

so sometime CE acts like a d*ck but what i usually do when this happen is:

- delete the script thats causing this issue.
- open a new ce window, and copy the other working scripts to that new window and save them AS a different name.
- delete old CT
- fully shutdown my pc (with switching power off, dont ask me why i just do it this way when i want to restart)
- when you reboot again just open the game and ce REmake/create that script and everything should be fine.

note that sometimes it automatically works after spamming space-bar on the script, but still that doesnt make sense to me even the things i do copy-paste the scripts reboot blahblahblah .. all this doesnt make sense to me.
