So, I'm sure other people said this but I can't seem to install older versions of cheat engine.

I don't know the cause why the installer is failing.
I disable my antiviruses before installing the old versions but they don't really show any messages other than a warning that they contain might a virus when I try to click on the installer.. :( Is there someone out there that can help me?
The newer version of cheat engine isn't really working well for me; I can't use mono feature on games like hollow knight/w.

It showed me that it was installing but after it finished installing I couldn't find the application

Which antivirus are you using?

If it's the nasty ones like bitdefender, you need to whitelist and disable it before it would allow you to do anything with your computer.

I only use malwarebytes and windows defender is that bad?

Malwarebytes is a replacement for Windows Defender so you will want to use one or the other. In this case you will need to disable them both and exclude Cheat Engine.
