My original code line generated by AutoAssembler is:
mov ecx,[dungeonsiege.`string'+39B54]

the ' right after string, makes the rest of the line a comment.

How can I escape the comment and have the ' there for the line to build?

I tried '' and \' without any luck

try using the modulename+offset notation instead of the symbol (disable symbols and make sure module addresses are shown)
