|
|
Hey, total newb here.
I can easily find and edit the various addresses for Hull, shield, energy, (all floats) etc, but I'm having massive troubles finding the pointers, and not only that but every time you jump to a new sector, the addresses all change.
I managed to find some code that seems to move to xmm sources to change the hull, and NOP it out, but that caused everyone (me, enemies, and allies) to take 0 hull damage, even after jumping to a new sector.
I've done most of the CE tutorial, however there is no SUB opcode, instead I have a list of 5 MOVSS opcodes, all referencing XMMs, and [rdi+00000204].
Checking rdi, gives me a list of 10 addresses, which I dont know how to find the right one in. If I add the pointer in manually and add the offset, I get an address that is always 1.
I have no idea what to do from here. Any help?

just dont mess things together.
this can be pretty simple, specially when you have xmm registers.
if all xmms writing to rdi register then its cool, but make sure you pick the right one.
once you picked the right instruction, see what addresses it access and make sure you get your address, enemies, and allies.
then open dissect data and structures, make 3 different groups:
1. for you alone
2. for allies
3. for enemies
and try to find group difference by default CE will show group differences in purple, once you got that different thing between you, allies and enemies then you can build a script upon that different point.
dont think as it difficult, just put your hand into everything.

You can create only 2 groups:
1.for you and your allies
2.for enemy
and dissect it

you can create as much as you like buddy, dont talk like you know what he want to do.
maybe he want special thing for his player and not allies and enemies.

Thanks for the tips, but I'm still lost.
When I take damage to my hull, the following things happen:
(((SEE ATTACHMENT)))
The ones with only 1 count are actual damage to the hull, the top one I assume is the HUD, but the rest I have no idea.
I tried checking what the XMMs held at the time using the FPU reader but it was different for each opcode, and made no sense. None of them ever referenced max HP, only current after damage. Some seem to reference exact damage taken, but I dont know how it was worked out, IE armour reduction, speed of collision etc...
ARGH! I just want to not have to search, find, and freeze my Hull value after each jump!

First find the address of your health and click what writes to this address and find the code that decreases the health of you, your allies and enemies.then click on show disassembler.
Then in the code that decrease your health and others
Right click it and click on "find out what addresses this instruction accesses.
After that a blank debug window will appear.
Now get hit, take damage to your allies and hit some enemies.you will get some addresses (2 enemies and you and 1 allies health address is enough.)
Now dissect data/structures.
