After about approximately ten years of the absolute spoonfed beginner level I have decided I want to take my CE skills to a higher gear. I tried the latest CE tutorial, and I get stuck on the final portion, it seems to be a significant jump in difficulty from the prior steps. It says knowing assembly language helps. In this case, where do I learn assembly language? I cannot seem to find any books on the issue in my library, and most of them are assembly for roblox or stuff like that. I am looking for books or pdfs that are cheat engine and modding specific.

I appreciate all the assistance I can receive

Well as a start youtube has a few videos that cover the CE tutorial specifically: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=cheat+engine+tutorial+step+9

As for learning assembly generally I'd recommend http://www.opensecuritytraining.info/IntroX86.html as a starting point though if you want a crash course https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ViNnfoE56V8 may be better. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHE0txCjGgI&list=PL0C5C980A28FEE68D is probably also useful.
