Is there anyway to scan the assembler code for changes?
For example I know an assembler line at memory 0x14064DD3E reads Code: | movss [rcx+00000244],xmm1 | or Code: | F3 0F 11 89 44 02 00 00 | in array of bytes form. That happens to be the assembler that changes your speed, by NOPing it I can set my own speed value, so I set the value to and it works great. It does exactly what it should do.
However, if I were to freeze the game and search for all -> unknown initial value, then NOP out the assembler line, and Scan Next -> Changed value, I don't get any results. The value has changed, I can see it in my cheat table, however it seems like cheat engine isn't scanning that memory, or ignoring it for some reason. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong and how I can see changes made to the assembler when scanning (as an array of byte or otherwise)?
Thanks!

by default ce skips readonly and unchanged memory.
to scan that as well you must make the checkboxes gray

Ah I see, Thank you!
Also thank you for Cheat Engine, you basically pioneered game hacking and 95% of game hacking done now-a-days is in someway made using cheat engine. You are awesome for making this, and it's not said enough.
