Hi. I'm a beginner currently trying to write a script for Secrets of Grindea to be able to purchase items from vendors even at 0 gold.
Here is how the shops differ with the amount of gold you have:

As you can see, when you can't afford something, it's highlighted in red. Initially I thought this may have been managed with a boolean value but several search attempts made me think it's not. After that, I took a look at what's accessing the gold adress, to see if there is any kind of comparison going on in the background regardless of the visual representation. With altering such code, I would be able to mainpulate the check and bypass it. However I couldn't make out anything from the lines I've got from checking what accesses the gold value.
What would be the general approach for bypassing checks when buying something from a vendor or whatever ? If you've had experience with this game already or have achieved to do what I want in another game, I would really appreciate it if you would share your experiences with me.
Thanks in advance.

Ultimap.
I did something similar with Watchdogs for unlocking skill points.

Oh yeah, forgot about that thing. Sadly that's a crash fest for me.

If you have a 32-bit version of the target process, you can try this ultimap alternative:
CDA - Code Dynamic Analysis
