hello!
i got a question for about pointers in the game 7 days to die.
I kinda found 2 pointers to two different slots in my inventory (7 and 8 slot)
and i am able to manipulate the values to create infinity items in those slots.
but how can i easily find the pointers and offsets or the other slots too? if i have found some already.
also is there a way to be able to change the item id in those slots? in that case where should i look? |

Hi,
My answer is not quite related to your question.
I cheated in that game in a different way: during the crafting the number of items in inventory is decreased. I changed that to increase instead.
There are several different places for such decreases: items in inventory, items on shortcut panel (like meds, food and drinks), ammo.
As for me - that is much more easier than what you're going to achieve. |

Right click one of the inventory values you found and "Browse This Memory Region"
Change other slot values in game, and you will see that in memory view flashes some values on bottom.
From there you can add them to "address list" calculate distance from your found slots and just add offset in pointer. |

hi again, long time no see.
I did what you said and succeeded quite good but with latest update everything is a mess and jumps back and forth and there is no static address that you can change to keep the value. (that address only stays until you move item and no longer works after that..)
and now im stuck with alot of numbers only.... |
