No opinions on that just because I don't really know what we are trying to accomplish in the middle east anymore. We've been bombing the shit out of their civilians and children for quite a few years now though, so it's not like this is anything new. Sucks we lost one of our own though. Are we still just fighting "terror"?

the US has and always will be a country of terrorists. look at the shit we've done in pretty much any war. good examples ww2 and vietnam. only country to ever use nuclear weapons. go fuckin figure we're still doing the same kind of shit. +all the shit done to citizens of the US itself (shouts out snowden)
trump honestly isnt the sole cause of all of liberals hostility, its a lot of pent up anger taken out on an easy target

I mean, we spent all that time in WW2 not wanting to get mixed up in it at all until Pearl Harbor shifted public opinion, so I dunno if I would go as far as saying we have always been a terroristic country. However, we are and have been mixed up in so much shit over the last 60 years that hasn't really been any of our business. Overthrowing democratically elected leaders, drone strikes, black site operations, the dark side of America is pretty dark.
I think a big source of liberal's pent up anger is the constant barrage of identity politics where everyone who isn't a white male is made to feel like a victim. That and all the sensationalist, clickbaity news trying to sound as alarmist as possible to get you riled up and spreading their propaganda.
I am glad things are so interesting at least, I don't really like him, but I am finding all this a bit entertaining. Everyone seems to think he'll get impeached too, but I don't see it.

the dark side of america is dark, but also consider the only things we know are things released to the public. probably tons of more terrible shit has been done.
now im definitely not saying that other countries don't do terrible shit, or that none of the terrible shit we've done/do is unjustifiable, but i am saying recognize the many sides and view points that exist in the world.
