Hello,
I am trying to find the base address of the counter value in a clicker game I made in C#, which basically adds one to the counter everytime I click (Kinda like in the CE tutorial). Now I managed to find the base address in the tutorial but I cant find it in the game I made.
Here's what I have done:
1. I found the address of the counter.
2. I clicked "Find what writes to this address" and copied the address + offset.
3. Checked the "Hex" tick box and searched for address I found in step 2 and got a list of addresses.
4. For each address I manually added a pointer with the offset.
5. For each pointer I clicked "Find what access's this pointer".
Here is my problem - for all of those pointers nothing shows up in the "Find what access's this pointer" list (And yes I updated the counter after clicking it).
Any help is greatly appreciated!
P.S I'm new to this
EDIT: Added screenshot of the problem

It can't be the base address because it changes when I restart the game. I really don't understand why it Isn't working
I want to find the base address so I can use it in a c++ trainer and I'm not sure I can do the same with an aob scan. _________________
