hi guys,
(sorry for my poor English)
In step 6, I found the base address (with green color), and add the pointer to CE, every time I click [change value] and [change pointer], the value in CE will change too.
but I cannot lock the value in CE by pointer, can anyone help me?

find what accesses the pointer and just change the value, not the pointer

i have found out what's wrong.....
cannot use pointer with address like 1002c50...., should use pointer address like this "Tutorial-x86_64.exe+2c4a50".
(i pass the step6 with pointer address like Tutorial-x86_64.exe+2c4a50)

ah I didn't notice it at first, but you where already at the top of the pointer 1002c4a50 is a static address.
so use as base address 1002c4a50 (Tutorial-x86_64.exe+2c4a50) with an offset of 0
