Cheat Engine

So I decided I'd start my first hack on a game that I wouldn't care about getting reported/kicked/banned on, so I chose toontown since I haven't played it since years ago.

I checked out tutorials on how to hack assault cube and made a teleportation hack for the game. I decided to move on to a slightly larger multiplayer game where I might find more exploits related to score and movement.

When I tried using speedhack, nothing happened. I spent about 5 minutes trying to find coordinates, and when I tried to change them, literally nothing happened. Not even a twitch. I tried replacing it with code that does nothing, but it didn't affect the game, and when I debug using default settings, the game crashes.

I can't tell if the game is crashing because it's based on old code and a crummy game engine, or if the developers actually made an anti-cheat for a game like toontown. I tried setting the debugger to be less detectable but crashed the game as soon as I moved.

When I went to Edit > Settings > Debugger options, and set it to VEH mode it doesn't crash the game, but I haven't found any values that I can modify at all related to coordinates and few other things I attempted.

I decided to see if I could try making an sloppy fly hack by trying to modify how high I jump and how many times I can jump, I had zero success. I'm kind of confused right now.
