Hello,I really like the trainer generator of Cheat Engine,because it uses Lua,a great and powerful language,but the resulting trainers take 3 processes and take time to decompress when they are opened,that's why I want to use something else to interpret the data I get with Cheat Engine.

So what do you think I should learn?C,C++,C# or something else?
I already have a pretty good knowledge in Lua and Ruby,and I know a few things in TCL,but I don't think that I can use Ruby here.

Ruby has a WinAPI module that would work just fine. The best solution, of course, is to just release tables.

Yes,I know that Ruby has API support,but I need to create a GUI,so I'll need either a GUI designer or some methods to implement a form,buttons,comboboxes,checkboxes etc.,I also need to save my work as '.exe',not as an '.rb' trainer.

Regarding tables,I have made some,but the problem is that I always feel that I could add something,example :here's a table I have made for Brave Dwarves 2,have a look at it,it looks pretty nice,doesn't it?I haven't posted it here yet because I want to make a wall hack (Walk and shoot through walls),and a player speed hack (I have the x,y positions of my player on the screen).

If you are looking for an easy solution to making external trainers with a simple GUI drag and drop interface, I would suggest C#.

If you plan to go more in-depth with your trainers with things such as:
- Injection
- Hooking / Detouring
- In-depth bypassing
- Game function invokation etc.

Then I would recommend that you look into C/C++

Ultimately the choice is up to you on which you decide to go with.

Well,if I can use Ruby,that's better,because I don't have to learn it from scratch,if I cannot,then I'll try my luck in C++,I already know a few basics.
Ruby is a very elegant language between.

Hi

I use Visual Basic 6.0 to generate trainers. It's a dead language (i know) but you can make something like this:

XM music player, rainbow effects, moving characters, starfield effects, etc... The source code of this trainer are posted on my signature.[/code]
