I have a dell windows rt tablet. I have downloaded cheat engine 6.3 and have saved the file however when I try to run the file a message that reads "This app can't run on you PC, To find apps for this PC, open the Windows Store."

If anyone knows anyway to get around this so that I can use Cheat Engine please let me know.

Thanks.

Try "Run As Administrator".

Make sure the installator is saved in non-temp folder ( if its located in ...User\Appdata\Local\.... probbly its opend in a temp folder, when you download it make sure to cklic Save, not Run ).

If this two didnt worked so please make a screenshot of the error that it gives Smile

bayimg. com/ (delete this) DAoebAafj (take out spaces)

That was after I right click, selected run as administrator, a box popped up asking me to allow the program to make changes to my computer and I said yes, and then that picture came up

Windows RT isn't the same as an x86 Windows installation. The only software that will run on both without at least a recompile are HTML-type apps.

You have to run it in the desktop mode if you don't have Windows RT.

Incorrect. The .NET Common Language Runtime (CLR) is ported over to RT, so any .NET applications built in VS2012 with AnyCPU as the architecture target will work on both standard x86 Windows systems and ARM-based Windows RT. This is because .NET binaries only contain Common Intermediate Language (CIL) rather than native opcodes, so they can be interpreted by any implementation of the CLR across any platform.

The limitation, of course, is that you can't use certain things via COM or P/Invoke, because they're not available on RT.

you'll need a tablet with windows pro which can run x86 architecture programs. Tablets with windows RT are best suitable as doorstoppers

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the subset of .NET that users are restricted to uses XAML exclusively (System.Windows.* becomes Windows.UI.Xaml.* - the html-like UI I was referring to). Even if CE were written in pure .NET, you wouldn't be able to run it without seriously hacking your RT tablet since only MS-signed apps are able to run on the desktop and you wouldn't even be able to sideload CE in the first place.
