This happens with cheat engine, as well as other programs. It always seems to be the same kind of programs that have basic gui interfaces, like Grapevine or Cheat Engine. I don't even know how to begin to describe what the issue is to do a google search on it, so maybe someone here knows what exactly the issue is and how to fix it.

Notice how the button just next to the "pause the game" checkbox is cut off? And how the "scan type" and "Value type" words are cut off by the address bar? Or how the "First scan" and "Undo scan" don't seem to fit into their buttons correctly? Or how the number of found processes has been shoved into the word "found?"

This is the issue I'm having. At first, I thought that it was the font size of the computer, but I can't make it any smaller. As I said, it's not just cheat engine either; other programs that have gui's like this have this issue as well, and I have no idea how to describe the problem to find a solution to it.

And ideas on what the problem is or how to fix it? I would really appreciate the help.

Sounds like an issue with your system DPI.
Try this:
1. Right-click your desktop and choose 'Personalize'.
2. At the bottom right, click 'Display'.
3. On this window click the bubble that says '100%'.
4. Click apply.
5. On the right of this window, click 'Set Custom Text Size (DPI)'.
6. Make sure its set to 100%.

If you want, also tick the box that says 'Use Windows XP style DPI scaling'.

It's already set at 100% and I'm already using Windows XP style DPI scaling. It doesn't change anything about the problem. I also tried to make it larger to see if it would change anything, and it didn't actually change the size of the text.

Looking at your screenshot, it definitely looks like its a DPI issue. Does your graphics card have some DPI override on it to enforce a specific setting?

Not that I can see. Then again, I'm not certain I am looking in the correct places. Sadly, I'm currently working with an intel graphics card on this laptop, but in its control panel there isn't anything to change the dpi settings.

For example, on all my systems, the DPI setting is:

Which displays Cheat Engine properly.

You are also using CE 6.2 which is older, perhaps update to the latest (6.3) and see if that helps.

First, that was what you told me to do in your first post, and it is already set to those settings, and there has been absolutely no change.

Second, it is not just Cheat Engine that has this issue, other programs have it as well that use the same type of gui interface. I do not know if they were coded in C++ or VB, but all programs of this type have formatting and text issues.

Third, there is no difference between using 6.2 and 6.3, both have the same formatting issues that I've described.
