Im currently playing a game that has some sort of protection (probally against injects) i can change many adresses with CE, but there is one dynamic address that i need to find a pointer to in order to lock, is it possible to do this with out using the debugger? (as it crashes the game, aka function to find out what accesses or writes to address crashes game)
more specifically, i can find and freeze my ammo, it's 4 bytes, and the health is 4 bytes (at least i think, its an array from double to 4b) but any attempts to change it causes it to revert to its native state (which is a simple pointer, that i cannot access due to the debugger crashing the game)
Any suggestions?

Normally I'd say to use the pointer scanner, but pointers are useless in your case (the address is wrong)
Try one of the other debugging methods. E.g VEH debug with exception breakpoints. The game will be unplayable, but it may give an idea where to look
