here is another practice on learning Lua, and these is nothing no say about eclipse, simply the best . this is 32 bit version and it include source code for those learning both asm & lua.
Installion: unpack zip file to ce folder but remeber to backup CE's lu5.1-32.dll or you will be reinstall ce after install this plugin. the lua5.1-32.dll is file provide from eclipse-ldt, if you dislike it you can copy a 5.1 version from lua offical. two dlls in clibs is libraries i had compile from lua socket project, and i'm using vs2012, so you may be install a new vc run time or recompile this package. about backing up CE's lua5.1-32.dll: it seem that there is a conflict between db version and offical, so ce's lua cannot run "lua socket", just wait until db fixit.

these is to method to setup eclipse debug lua script run in ce:
method 1: config eclipse and add a new interpreter, which is "cheatengine-i386.exe", then press debug button.
method 2: run eclipse ldt as "attach debug mode" and return to CE, open lua script window and type: ldtdbg("luafile"); luafile is file have same path as file in eclipse.
another thing, when you replace lua5.1.dll then you will not able to see print result until you attach to eclipse, and output will be redirect to eclipse console window. final, you you donot set breakpoint in eclipse, you will only see result of script. some function wiill be miss or can not runable with "lua offical" dll, example: autoassembe() function,...
