Hi mgr.inz.Player !
I restarting to play BL2 and i was happy to see that the pointers in Techno Jacker'CET are still working.
But i forgot that he don't let us choose the key for your blink (remember A for AZERTY).
So i decided to use your standalone blink but it crash at launch... The version without sounds still working. So it appear this is the sound which make the CET crash. I don't know if you added the sound in the CET (and even if it's possible) or if you use a sound of the game. If so, maybe the file moved or something ?
I don't know if you have the time or the wish to update it but it will be much appreciated .
EDIT:
I changed the key in the TechnoJacker's CET, it work.
But i miss the sound that you added in the standalone.
Can you explain me how to add it please, wich line i should put instead of beep() ?
I tried to open the blink+sound CET with an editor to understand how it work but it seem to be a binary or something.
EDIT2:
If i'm rigth, this is LUA (i don't know yet this scripting language).
So i found a potential way to play sound in the script with the Corona library.
It seem i can't post URL...
Source: docs. coronalabs. com/ api/ library/ audio /play. html
With something like that:
Code: | --Loads the selected audio (make sure the name is the same as the .wav file)
local blinksound = audio.loadSound( "blinksound.wav" )
--Plays the audio on any available channel (theres up to 32 channels)
local blinksound = audio.play( blinksound ) |
ProteaAudio seem to be fine too: github. com/ jkl1337/ proteaAudio/ releases
Still in test.
EDIT3:
I'm an asshole, i didn't reread the first page of the post --'.
Did you finally make it ?
Quote: | Making CE plugin for it must be much easier I think I will make one in the future. |
If not can you post the fully functionnal CustomBeep function please ? |

You don't need customBeep anymore.
Recent few CE versions have playSound function.
Code: | playSound(stream, waittilldone OPTIONAL): Plays the given memorystream containing a .WAV formatted memory object. If waittilldone is true the script will stop executing till the sound has stopped
playSound(tablefile, waittilldone OPTIONAL) : Takes the memorystream from the tablefile and plays it. |
Here newer version (tested on 24 April 2015): https://www.dropbox.com/s/43qq3qizox4vuej/bl2Blink.cetrainer?dl=1
It also has hidden hotkey (F7) for special kind of teleport, it spawns you 20 units after last bullet last known position, useful when you want to teleport behind closed doors.
You can change file extension to CT if you want to see what's inside.
Note: Lua script inside that file has two Lua syntax flavors, old and new. But, I strongly recommend to use newer/better syntax. Those you can actually see in recent scripts in this forum section, especially in "Lua Extensions" forum section.
PS: here wav sound file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w2j9gkuwd24srpt/CustomBeep.wav?dl=1 _________________
