not sure where this should properly go since i'm pretty sure it's still flash but it's not an online flash. it's offline or console, i guess.

note: i've purchased this game legally, so i'm not interested in serial numbers. only internal game hacking.

i'd like to request some form of monkey money or cash codes. the current ones for the online version do not seem to be working. i cannot find 24 0a a2 48 47 at all. and d2 66 ?? ?? a1 61 only shows up when d2 is switched to ?? (but i'm still getting like 25 results). any help would be great. thank you.

I found a few tricks to make money faster. But you have to work a little.

You have to place a tower on the map, then search hex code (provided below). You will see this (eg the sniper)

The 2 bytes in green is the resale value. Reset after a few seconds, I tried!

The 8 bytes in red manage upgrades, but the codes vary from one reload to another.

The procedure I used to get more money: it is not perfect because the game crashes sometimes when you edit.

- Place a tower
- Search it in CE
- Purchase all upgrades for ONE path
- Copy the 8 upgrade bytes in CE
- Sell the tower and place another in the desired location
- Search the new tower in CE
- Paste the bytes in the right place in CE

NB: Do it with Banana Farm, and the money going to rain!

Is there a way to get monkey money possibly? I think this just gives you the normal cash for the level. I've tried the normal value and x8 value searching all variable types. Does anyone know what type monkey money is? AOB, double, etc?

I use a method similar to the old strategy by bananan on Page 3 of the online version of BTD5 to increase the monkey money. It's not a direct way to manipulate the money but it'll increase the amount. Here's my modification:
1. Open CE and game.
2. Mark plugin-container.exe if using Firefox. If using Chrome, try one of the chrome.exe files until you find the correct one.
3. Select any track. I use Monkey Lane.
4. Type: double, unknown initial value and first scan
5. You should get a lot of values.
6. Buy a Road Spike.
7. Type: decreased value and next scan
8. Repeat steps 6. and 7. until the number of results is less than 100. It took laying 7 sets of Road Spikes for me (trying it twice)
9. Look for the first and second numbers that aren't negative and don't have decimals or E- values like 1.xxxxxxxE-200 or 4.5342424254E-455 or -123456. The number should be positive like 123456 or 156987.
10. Select them both to add to the cheats list. Make 1 of them active and go into the game and go to buy a special agent but don't. Look at the money at the bottom. It should jump. If it doesn't try activating the other number. Every time you go to buy agents, the number should jump. If the money displayed with the agents doesn't match the money on the main screen, buy an agent and it will change. Deactivate the value to decrease the spike in monkey money.
This has worked every time I've tried it. The maximum # of non negative and non decimal values has always been 2 for me. This doesn't work in the online game.

Was this with the deluxe offline version? Because you mention opening firefox/chrome.

I wasn't able to find any whole positive numbers when I tried this a few times.

That was my mistake. I'm use to using CE in a browser. Step 2 should read 'Mark BloonsTD5Deluxe.exe...This is the deluxe offline version. I tried it again and I got 1 positive value but the address that worked had a negative 6 digit whole number. After removing the long decimal numbers from the list, the 2 values of concern were the top two that had an address that was in a different location than below them. When I tried it before posting this, my monkey money jumped from 1000+ to 3000+ to 8000+ to 15000+.

I worked on nc2kid's solution when I found some valuable information, lives, XP, special agents, ingame money, towers upgrades.

First of all, thanks to nc2kid since I read his post, my game no longer crashes.

Monkey Money is always near the top of the list.

XP is close above or below MnkMn.

To find money click on "Next Scan" again and add 20k cash and choose "increased value" and "Next Scan" you should have one integer result.

For lives, in all my attempts, I found it just above money and Rounds is just above lives. Beware about Rounds entry, you can quickly jump to round 300 and more.

Now, I can not be sure about towers upgrades, but you must put them all on the map before you do your "First Scan", select all integers and activate for a few seconds.

If you did the last step, special agents should already at pro level.
