It would suck balls for anyone that shares an internet connection or has a shitty internet connection. Plus I'd imagine the graphics won't be as good as if you actually owned the game.

Yeah, that's what I said, but apparently,

No, everything run's from their main servers. It's pretty much like watching a movie on your desktop/laptop that you have complete control over lol, even with my connection I had lag between me and the server so when i would push W to move forward I wouldn't move for a second or two later...

Yeah, but now you just have to constantly use bandwidth to play the game! Sucks for people with limited.

Yes, I know that. But the graphics will still be worse than if you were running the game on your PC and might even get some frame lag depending on how intense the game is.. and yeah, the latency too. You'd need minimal latency to play a game where you have to make split second choices and actions.. latency spikes? You just died.

Just FYI: $15 a month + Full price of games. And once you stop using the service you lose all the games you bought.

This shit is gonna fail so hard.

apparently you cannot change graphics settings in most titles, on onlive, nor can you play online.

so ontop of latency and input lag... you get actual fps lag because their shit computers cant handle it.

Really, though. This sort of thing doesn't work great locally, let alone on a national or global scale. That's another thing, where are they/where is the service offered but absolutely useless?

Is the computer even a console.
Wouldn't this thread just be another random spam thread about debating xbox360, PS3, Wii (lol), PC? :l

Dark Byte has a point. With games you can buy for the PC, Files can be edited (such as a lot of custom things for TF2).

Now, youre playing TF2 on your OnLive. Custom content? forget it.

The thing is, if OnLive goes down, what happens to all your games?

And if you already own a game, you can't redeem it for OnLive. You gotta buy it again.
