Cheat Engine

If you really want to "excel" in using Cheat Engine I would suggest that you start out with version 2.3, and work up from there.

Unless DarkByte has a "lite" version. :)

For a "Lite" version go to settings and disable the "Advanced options" checkbox.

there's a hell of a lot of options on CE
and I'm happy to say ,,

once you get into using it,

it is the most user friendy memory editor I've used,,,
makes pointer searchs very easy because it catch's the registers when the register's holding the address you want, IE frozen at the time the address is written to,,
bit like si,

sounds a bit basic but it aint easy looking at registers dance around different addys,,
you get all cross eyed,

you can use an exact value search ,,
did you get 0090a55c address,,

and right click it and
choose

find out what writes to this address,,the window box THE FOLLOWING OPCODES CHANGED THE SELECTED ADDRESS,,
will pop up,
hit the change value button again,
and you will see something like... 45665b MOV[EAX],EDX

click on the line 4566b MOV[EAX],EDX
to highlight it

you can click on the REPLACE button,
which will add the code to the code list and nop the offending code out

you got to stage 5
your doing ok

no you just attache cheat engine to nitto same as you did when you attached to the tutorial,,
you know how to search ow you finished the tut,

the difference is with nitto is that you tend to do TEXT searches ,

instead of the default VALUE TYPE of 4 bytes,

just use the drop down menu llike you did in the tut and choose TEXT

there are plenty of nitto players here,

they put the cheats that work ,,
and the ones that have been disabled by nitto,,

I'm not the 1 to ask about nitto
because I do't play it myself,,

read through nitto 1320 at the bottom of the home page to get the best tips,,

and use the search option at the top of the page to find any cheats,,
if there's any they'll be on here somewhere,,

search as much as you can before you post any questions though,,

the guy's there are getting fed up with answering the same questions many times over,

so have a good look first and ask only if your really really stuck on nitto

Cheat Engine is definetely the most user friendly memory editor ive ever seen, I just started using it 2 days ago and I understand almost everything perfectly!
