At a lot of sites I go to I get this weird font that's not English. I've tried searching google and have come upon this and followed some of the suggestions. Any of you had any similar problems and know a fix?

Here's what happens at Engadget:

Delete all your Cache, better yet, use CCleaner.
Try a different browser.

Cookies cleared, through FF and using CCleaner.

Everything works fine on Chrome and IExplorer, I noticed this happened after the FF update. I think it might be an addon messing things up, I've got to check.

Maybe it has something to do with the skin?

How about turning off all addons and skins and such.
See if the font is correct. If so, use the process of elimination and see which addons are causing it. Beware it could be a few addons interfering with each other somehow causing it.

As a last resort, re-install FF again.

But I think you have to change the language perhaps as you have shown in the picture.

I ran it in safemode with all addons turned off and put FF back into the default skin, same result.

I did reinstall, but I didn't delete personal data.
